History

 

 Sweden is an ideological center between the seventh and ninth century AD around the city, "Uppsala", which launched campaigns of the Vikings (Raiders of the North) to the countries of the region. Kalmar Union was established in 1397, which included the three Scandinavian countries Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

In 1994 Swedes voted by a narrow margin to join the European Union
